Snoasis Medical’s web servers may collect domain names, but not the email addresses, of visitors. Registered users are classified as: 1. Dental Professionals, 2. Non-Dental Medical Professionals, and 3. Patients and Prospective Patients. Access to parts of the website and certain downloads is determined in-part by the registered user’s classification.
When you register with our website, we collect and store certain personal information in order to provide you with content which is not available to general website users. Such information includes your name, your email address, business address, phone numbers, system information such as passwords and/or pins (“Personal Registered User Information”). Note: The only personally identifiable information that will be collected and subsequently shared on Snoasis’ website is the contact information of licensed dental clinicians who choose to opt-in and be listed in the Find A Clinician application in the Patient section of the website.
Customers Only registered users who are licensed Doctors of Dental Surgery (“DDS”) or Doctors of Dental Medicine (“DMD”) (collectively, “Healthcare Professionals”) can be granted access to online product ordering capabilities.† Once these capabilities are granted to you, we collect and store the Personal Registered User Information along with billing information, other purchase order information (“Personal Customer Information”).† We may store your personal information as permitted by applicable law.† The personal information you provide to us is only in a manner consistent with the terms herein.† All credit card information entered through the website is transmitted to a third party payment gateway to authorize and complete transactions.† Snoasis Medical does not maintain any credit card information on its servers.†
Once a registered dental professional user has gained online ordering capabilities and become a Snoasis Medical customer, they will also gain access to additional downloadable documents on the website. Access to these specific downloadable documents will be strictly for customers only.
Use of Personal Information
Snoasis Medical will not sell, rent or lease your personal information to third parties in any manner that is inconsistent with the terms herein. Snoasis Medical will not share your personal information with business partners or any other third party company, expect as described below:

The portal is only for the use of Healthcare Professionals and their authorized representatives.

The portal is used for the storage and transmission of Protected Health Information between Snoasis Medical and Healthcare Professionals and their authorized representatives. Protected Health Information is used in accordance with the Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), as amended, and applicable federal and state laws governing patient privacy. Protected Health Information available on the portal may only be used or disclosed for treatment and other authorized purposes as stated in the Privacy Policy.
Security Measures
Information accessed through this portal, including Protected Health Information, is secured using administrative, physical and technical safeguards. For example, the transfer of information is encrypted using industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology and information is stored on controlled servers with restricted access. All access is password protected and each individual user has his/her own user name and password. All access is tracked at Snoasis Medical for security purposes.
