Management Team
Snoasis Medical is operated by a management team with a deep understanding of entrepreneurial ventures, regenerative products and the dental market. This team provides Snoasis with a solid backbone from which to build a best-in-class dental regenerative products company.
Robert Tofe, MBA – President
Robert possesses over fourteen years experience working with regenerative medical device products. Prior to founding Snoasis, he was the chief operating officer at CeraPedics, a company developing novel orthopedic bone substitute products. During his five-year tenure, he raised $4.5 million from angel investors and helped close a $14.5 million Series A venture capital round. Robert has also spent ten years working at CeraMed Dental, a market-leading dental bone substitutes company. He is a founding member of a Colorado life science entrepreneur’s club called BioBeers. Robert received his B.A. in Economics from Colorado State University, his M.B.A. from the University of Colorado at Denver and earned a Certificate for Entrepreneurial Studies from the Bard Center.
Eric Frank, MBA, MSF – Vice President of Operations & Finance
Eric has spent over six years working with entrepreneurial start-ups. Prior to joining Snoasis, he spent time working independently with several early stage companies, advising them on a variety of strategic business, finance and marketing projects. Eric also spent five years with CeraPedics, a venture-backed orthopedic bone substitutes company, as controller and financial manager. Prior to CeraPedics, Eric worked for Merrill Lynch and Legacy Ventures. He earned his B.S. in Finance from Colorado State University and his M.B.A. and M.S. in Finance from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.
Andrew J. Tofe, PhD – Vice President of Research & Development
Andrew has over forty years of experience developing and commercializing diagnostic and therapeutic products for bone disease and bone repair. He has held several executive level positions including founder and CEO of CeraPedics, founder and CEO of CeraMed Dental, director of technology at Mallinckodt Medical, Vice President of operations at Matrix Medical, marketing brand manager and section manager at Proctor & Gamble. Andrew received his B.S. in Chemistry from University of Dayton and a Ph.D. in Inorganic/Nuclear Chemistry from Florida State University.
David Busenhart – Product Manager
David has a diverse professional background spanning the last ten years. Prior to joining Snoasis, he helped start Watup Dogg, a specialty restaurant in Boulder, CO. David spent time managing public relations for the Arts Council of Beaufort County, South Carolina, and was a leasing manager for Macerich Company, an operator of regional shopping malls throughout the United States. David has a B.A. in English Language and Literature from the University of Vermont.
